LUKE BURKETT

Luke first started his construction journey on the Sunshine Coast in Carpentry when he was 17, building what was then the start to Peregian Springs Retirement Village.

With a passion for designer homes Luke shifted his focus to contracting to a local designer builder. Building beautiful architectural homes in Twin Waters and Pelican Waters Development precincts.

With a move to Sub Contracting and Supervising. Luke was in charge of a multiple project portfolio right here on the Sunshine Coast. Including Project managing new home builds in the Sunshine Cove precinct, Duplex’s, Appartments and designer homes in rural settings. Luke will not shy away from a complex build and has a proven ability to construct a diverse range of architectural projects.

A good friend approached Luke and admired his work ethic and passion, suggesting he should go back to college and get his Builders license. Encouraged by his family and friends Burkewood Building was Established in March 2017.
